What is Investment ?
In simple terms, investing is putting your money in such a place that will earn you some time in the future. You can also consider investing as an asset which works to grow your money.
Let's say you have Rs 200 today you are lying with you and invest it somewhere. After 5 years it becomes Rs 300. This way you used Rs 200 for yourself which gave you an extra Rs 100 . Thus, investing means earning money from money.
